Scout’s motto: “Be prepared, for wrongdoer: “Be evil”,but for the lord Buddha’s sermons: “Be purified,”

“Sappapassa akranam
Kussalassa upasampada
sacitta priyodapanam
etam buddhana sasanam”

“To abstain from evil
to do good deeds,
to purify one’s mind
these are teachings of all the Buddhas.”

Human beings on the world roll on with the things which are kamma-formations (rebirth- producing volitions)-rebirth, decay, disease, old age, death and again rebirth since the body is conditioned. we, being still quarry of the Kamma-formations based on cause and effort, bad and good, wrong and right, need to know them which are basic structures of human being.

If we do so, having shunned wrong and evils, having observed  right good ones, we are set to grow the light of wisdom and perfection in the life. If we-every human being are conditioned at right and good deeds, not wrong and evil ones, then our world in full of paradise of happinesses-of not living sorry, not worrying etiquette, not doing estentatious for one anther but only doing suitable harmony, brotherhood, fraternity, compassion, love and peace.

Many individuals, many groups, many societies, many associations of Buddhists or non- Buddhists in the world nushroom in their tendencies of activity-doing for religion or non-religion, contributing towards social welfare, participating in activity of love and peace need to be done”as the Buddha narrated his disciple Ananda:–

“Once it is said, the Buddha took some dry leaves in his hand and asked his favourable disciple Ananda, to tell him whether there were other leaves besides  those in his hand, and Ananda replied: ‘the leaves of autumn are falling on all sides, and there are more of them than can be numbered’: the said the Buddha: in like manner I have you handful of truths, but besides these there are many thousands of other truths, more than can be numbered.”

Just like what the Buddha did a metaphor to  Ananda,  we, therfore, do little, very little “more need to be done” remaining undone a sea of duty to the goodwill of the people of this world. Yet this beautiful earth is the responsibility of beings.

As to ” more need to be done” we do need in common, because of scanty and more scanty sometimes in performance of individual, and seldom, very seldom scanty in performance of a society, but even more so  far from scanty in performance of co-operation in common.

Of course, after an exile of five centuries over, though here (Nepal frontier) the Buddha was born, here he wandered about, here he sat under Bodhi tree and gained enlightenment, here he preached his first sermon, and here attained Nirvana, the Buddhists have rejuvenated in their own holy place since within nineteen centuries cultivated by more painstaking  fortitudes by a monk of Ven, Sandramuni Bhabhaji of Arakan State of Burma and a layman. Rev, Anagarika Dharmapala of Srilanka.

It is the wish of “Russa Road Young Buddhist Student Literacy Mission “to give to the people of the world in general and India in particular without distinction of caste and creed, and black and  white, the benefit of the Compassionate doctrine of the Blessed one.

We expect more for spreading the massage of love, compassionate, and universal peace imparted by the Tathagata. On behalf of all the members of this society, I trustthat you also would accompany us and come forward to disseminate the Dhamma of Gautama Buddha throughout the would.

The active and sympathetic interests shown by both individuals and societies from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Burma, Bangladesh and India, and by kind donations of many throughout the world, give us much courage in our future tasks and much promise for a better future ahead.
